Salam,
Alhamdullilah today was a peaceful and a good weathered day for my uncle's burial. I was asked to stay on at my grandmother's place and so I had to rush back home right after Subuh. My family and I than went out at abt 30mins upon my arrival home.
We reached my cousin's place at about 9.30am where my uncle's body was being bath. After which we said our farewell and prayers for him. Today was the first time I see tears in my dad's eyes. Who wouldn't be sad to see your own sibling pass away? Seeing that made me cry. I promised I wouldn't but seeing him shed a tear made me.
We then set off to the cemetery and witness the burial. I find the day quite calming and peaceful. I guess he was ready to go and people around him are ready to let him go too.
I would say my uncle was a great man with a big heart. He wouldn't even want anyone to visit him while he is sick saying thay it will disrupt our daily lives. He love to give and is always kind. But it saddens me that his kind-heartedness was taken advantage off. But above all he touch most of our family members life....
Al-fatihah to my uncle, Md. Salleh Bin Md. Som...
