The situation here is Singapore is chaotic due to a religious comment made by the minister. It was told that Muslims here should practice less strict ways with our religion. He is implying due to our strict ways we are hindering social interactions with our chinese and indian neighbours. I feel that this is an understatement, I am close to my chinese and indian friends and most of my malay friends have friends of other races too. I just don’t get it why such comments are made. I am not sure of the younger generations though but making such remarks does spark a lot of retaliation by the Malay Muslim community here…
